Camaro Prototypes Roadbound Before Christmas |

An inside source said recently that Chevrolet of Australia is hand building the prototypes for the new 2009 Chevrolet Camaro. The source also mentioned the cars will be built and tested on Australia's roads.
The 2009 Camaro represents the most anticipated Chevrolet in many years. After production was halted in 2002, Camaro and Chevy lovers have been longing for its resurrection, which is slated for 2009. The car features retro looks, big wheels, and most importantly, big power.
The muscle car wars are sure to gear up with the Camaro, Ford Mustang, and new Dodge Challenger getting ready to hit the streets. Australians are just as excited about these prototypes as they may also be getting a version of the Canadian built muscle car. The decision on whether it will feature the Chevrolet or the Holden nameplate is yet to be decided.
