Laying another stone in the path of production for the new Chevrolet Camaro, the Canadian Auto Workers Union has approved a set of work rule updates. GM leadership has made commitment to hasten the news on the final decision to proceed with production. The cards seem to be played correctly thus far; now its just another round in the waiting game for enthusiasts.
With many details still under question, feasibility studies are being compiled in order to give GM the best estimate as to how production will unfold successfully at the Oshawa, Ontario facility. The positive results from the CAW negotiations are a mere stepping stone in the whole concepts progress; many obstacles still remain before buyers will have a chance to snag up the next best thing from GM.
