2010 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible

As Chevrolet just starts to pour new life into the revived Camaro, they have decided to also offer a convertible version of their legendary street bruiser. RPM has learned that Chevrolet will follow up the launch of the 2009 Camaro coupe with a 2010 Camaro convertible. Both of these cars are scheduled to enter the exploding pony car market right as the two other domestic OEM’s release their own pony cars. The convertible version will also ride on the same Zeta platform that will be modified for use as the Camaro. One of the nice things about this global platform is GM could spin off many other two-door RWD variants like the Firebird, GTO, and Grand Prix, so easily. The next generation Camaro will be fighting off a lot of Challengers and Mustangs in the very near future so stay tuned.
