At the Automotive News World Congress, GM's vice president of global design Ed Welburn could be quoted as saying many noteable things regarding the Camaro Concept. None more noteable then "I think we could move very quickly" Read it here

GM has big plans for rear-drive cars. As a matter of fact, there is a program in place at this time to select which vehicles would reach production 2008 or 2009 within the six months. When asked about the Concept Camaro, Lutz had this to say "I know where it fits in the overall enthusiasm ranking. If it was a question of what would you like to do, I would obviously do this one first."
