It has been a while since
weve been baited by GM to see any new shots of the Chevrolet Camaro. Proper timing, wed say, given that the Dodge
Challenger has been spotted and spied upon in recent months; clearly making
headway into the production process.
These shots (click for hi res) are of the Chevrolet Camaro convertible,
and it looks like the new Bowtie beauty makes for quite the photogenic
subject. The GM corporate media site held
host to these photos, and now were here to share them with you. Enjoy! |

Yesterday, General Motors published a photograph of GM Chairman and CEO Rick Wagoner, Vice-Chairmen Bob Lutz and Fritz Henderson positioned in front of a production clay model of the 2009 Chevrolet Camaro. Captioning by GM references this figure being a "production clay model", but everything appears to be exactly the same as the past production visages we've seen; namely the Chevrolet Camaro concept that debuted at the 2006 Auto Show in Detroit. |

General Motors has quite the display of vehicles in the forthcoming summer blockbuster-to-be Transformers movie. Among the hot rod lineup of robot cars is the Chevrolet Camaro. Almost every vehicle in the movie is a GM product, except for the Ford Mustang. What we've seen so far of this movie in stills and trailers shows that the American hot rods are alive and strong, in spite of the sour news we hear on the street. We'll have to wait until July to see just how good the Camaro looks on the silver screen. Until then, we have to rely on Hollywood intel to keep us pacified.

Barrett-Jackson sees some of the rarest and most amazing
muscle cars to ever grace an auction block, but this one in particular will
probably bring in some great money this year as well as the future. Its options you ask? A 275 hp 327ci motor, automatic transmission and
a red leather interior. |

After wetting our appetites with the sneak peak of the new Camaro Convertible, Chevrolet brought the real thing out on stage today at the Detroit Auto Show. The bright tangerine-like orange gave quite the glow as it pulled down the runway. Chevy is definitely on to something with this car, and it will likely sell like hotcakes. |

Next week, Chevrolet will show off the convertible version of the Camaro at the North American International Auto Show. Along with the release, inside sources say this is good news for the United Kingdom, as Chevrolet has unofficial plans to send the Camaro over the pond. |

It's been some time since we have heard anything more from GM and the official plans to get the upcoming Chevrolet Camaro out in front of the public. Perhaps there is a large surprise we don't know about? Maybe Chevrolet is waiting to make a booming announcement about the Camaro coming in a 4-door version? OK...maybe not. What is known is that the new Chevy Camaro is going to have to show itself to be everything promised and more. One potential way that could warm BowTie lovers' hearts would be to make the convertible concept a reality, as everyone has hinted at. |
